COMPETITION
The Grand Final
of the Royal Kennel Club Vulnerable Breeds Competition
takes place at Crufts on Friday 6 March 2026

Awards on offer:
Best Vulnerable Breed 2025 & Reserve Best Vulnerable Breed 2025
The competition for Best Vulnerable Breed is open to all vulnerable breeds competing
at the following Group Championship Shows:
Hound: The Hound Association
Gundog: National Gundog Association
Terrier: National Terrier Club
Working: National Working and Pastoral Breeds Society
Pastoral: National Working and Pastoral Breeds Society
Toy: UK Toydog Society
Winners of Best of Breed* at the above shows will be invited by the Royal Kennel Club
to attend the final held at Crufts 2026. Pre-judging will take place in Hall 1, Ring 8 at
2.30 pm. The final judging will be held in the Arena at 5.40 pm. *Should the Best of
Breed be unable to attend the Best Opposite Sex will be invited to the final.
Note: To take part in the competition final the dog need not be qualified for or entered
in the main breed competition at Crufts 2026.

Bearded Collie, Bedlington Terrier, Bloodhound, Bullmastiff, Bull Terrier (Miniature),
Collie (Smooth), Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Deerhound, English Setter, English Toy Terrier
(Black & Tan), Foxhound, Fox Terrier (Smooth), Glen of Imaal Terrier, Gordon Setter,
Greyhound, Harrier, Irish Red & White Setter, Irish Terrier, Irish Wolfhound, Kerry Blue
Terrier, King Charles Spaniel, Lakeland Terrier, Lancashire Heeler, Manchester Terrier,
Mastiff, Norwich Terrier, Old English Sheepdog, Otterhound, Retriever (Curly Coated),
Sealyham Terrier, Skye Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Spaniel (Clumber), Spaniel
(Field), Spaniel (Irish Water), Spaniel (Sussex), Spaniel (Welsh Springer), Welsh Corgi
(Cardigan), Welsh Terrier
