AGILITY CHAMPIONSHIPS
SMALL, MEDIUM, INTERMEDIATE AND LARGE DOGS

The dogs entitled to compete for these Championships are those who have been awarded a
Royal Kennel Club Agility Certificate between 1 March 2025 and 31 October 2025.
The Royal Kennel Club will write to you to confirm you have qualified with details of how
you should enter your dog via Agility Plaza - please note there will be a charge for entry of
£27.00 per dog.
The tests for the Championship are those required in the Championship Class, and if the
winning dog has not been awarded a clear round in the final round, the Championship
Certificate shall be withheld. The Agility Championships will be held in accordance with the
Agility Regulations in force at the time of the Show.
Would all competitors please note the following Royal Kennel Club regulations:
(a) No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time
whilst within the boundaries of the Show;
(b) A draw for the running order of the agility and jumping rounds will be conducted and
competitors notified accordingly.
CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES
To consist of two qualifying rounds of standard Royal Kennel Club classes, one agility class
and one jumping class and a final round of agility to be held at the same show.
i. The agility rounds must contain the following elements:
'A' Frame, Dog Walk, See Saw, Hurdles, Hoop (Tyre), Long Jump, Pipe Tunnel and
Weaving Poles, together with any other obstacles as described in Royal Kennel Club
Regulations, at the discretion of the judge.
ii. The jumping round must contain the following elements:
Hurdles, Hoop (Tyre), Long Jump, Pipe Tunnel and Weaving Poles and must exclude
contact obstacles.
iii. The final agility round must contain all the obstacles described in (i) of this Regulation,
together with any other obstacles as described in Royal Kennel Club Regulations, at the
discretion of the judge.
Points will be awarded for placings in the agility round and jumping round. 1st place - 1 point;
2nd placed - 2 points, etc., to the final placed dog, eliminated dogs excepted.
