POST GRADUATE  —  For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate/CACIB/CAC/Green Star
          or five or more First Prizes at Championship Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit
          and Open classes, whether restricted or not, at Shows where Challenge Certificates were offered
          for the breed.
       MID LIMIT  —  For dogs which have not become show Champions under Royal Kennel Club Regulations
          or under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Royal Kennel Club, or won 3 or more
          CC/CACIB/CAC/Green Stars or won 5 or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Mid
          Limit, Limit or Open classes, confined to the breed, whether restricted or not, at Shows where CCs
          were offered for the breed.
       LIMIT  —  For dogs which have not become show Champions under Royal Kennel Club Regulations or
          under the rules of any governing body recognised by the Royal Kennel Club, or won 3 or more CC/
          CACIB/CAC/Green Stars or won 7 or more First Prizes in all at Championship Shows in Limit or Open
          Classes, confined to the breed, whether restricted or not, at Shows where Challenge Certificates
          were offered for the breed.
       OPEN  —  For all dogs of the breed for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show.
       VETERAN  —  For dogs of not less than seven years of age on 5 March 2026.
       FIELD TRIAL  —  For dogs which have won an Award, Diploma of Merit or Certificate of Merit in actual
          competition at a Field Trial held under Royal Kennel Club or Irish Kennel Club Field Trial Regulations.
          Awards must be gained in the UK or Ireland.
       GOOD CITIZEN DOG SCHEME  —  For dogs which have achieved their Good Citizen Dog Scheme
          Bronze Award Certificate or above. Certificates should be available at the Show for inspection, if
          requested. N.B. DOGS ENTERED IN THIS CLASS MUST ALSO QUALIFY FOR ENTRY IN THE
          USUAL WAY.
       IMPORTED BREED REGISTER  —  For breeds confined to the Imported Breeds Register and only
          when an Interim Breed Standard has been published by the Royal Kennel Club. Such breeds may
          be exhibited in this class with the Best Imported Register / Best Imported Register Puppy being
          eligible for Best in Group / Best Puppy in Group or Best in Show / Best Puppy in Show as relevant.
          Such breeds may be entered into Imported Breed Register classes and/or Any Variety or Stakes
          classes, with the exception of AVNSC classes, for which they are not eligible.
       SPECIAL WORKING TRIAL  —  With the exception of Bloodhounds, a dog is eligible for entry in the
          Working Trial Classes for its breed if it has gained a qualification not less than U.D. Excellent under
          Royal Kennel Club Working Trial Regulations. A Bloodhound is eligible for entry in the Working
          Trial Classes if it has won a prize at a Working Trial for Bloodhounds held under Royal Kennel Club
          Working Trial Regulations.
       SPECIAL OPEN RACING OR LURE COURSING (Greyhounds or Whippets only)  —  For Royal
          Kennel Club registered Whippets that have either (a) during the year ending at the closing date for
          Crufts entries, won a race at a club affiliated to the Whippet Club Racing Association or (b) during
          the year ending at the closing date for Crufts entries, competed at a recognised Lure Coursing club
          and achieved a creditable score/level of performance sufficient to demonstrate natural ability; and for
          Royal Kennel Club registered Greyhounds that must also be registered with the GBGB or the NCC.
       SPECIAL SHOW BORDER COLLIE HERDING TEST  —  A Border Collie is eligible for entry in this class
          if it has passed its Royal Kennel Club Show Border Collie Herding Test. N.B. DOGS ENTERED IN
          THIS CLASS MUST ALSO QUALIFY FOR ENTRY IN THE USUAL WAY.
       SPECIAL WORKING GUNDOG  —  A dog is eligible for entry in Special Working Gundog classes for
          its Breed if it has a Royal Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate, a Royal Kennel Club Show
          Gundog Working Certificate or won an award, Diploma of Merit or Certificate of Merit in competition
          at a Field Trial held under Royal Kennel Club or Irish Kennel Club Field Trial Regulations. Awards
          must be gained in the UK or Ireland. N.B. Dogs entered into this class no longer have to qualify
          for entry in a breed class first.
